Catherine Salvati Boinest, MD received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania, where she graduated with cum laude honors. She went on to receive her medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, PA before completing her residency at George Washington University Hospital in Washington, DC.
Since completing her residency, Dr. Salvati Boinest has worked as an internist in the DC area. From 2006 to 2012, Dr. Salvati Boinest also served as the Director of Urgent Care at George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates. She joined VHC Health Physicians – Primary Care McLean in the fall of 2017.
Dr. Salvati Boinest has an individualized approach to patient care, and her treatment plans are tailored to the specific needs of each of her patients. She has a particular clinical interest in comprehensive medical care, preventative medicine and women’s health and young adults.
A native of McLean, VA, Dr. Salvati Boniest enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, as well as reading and pilates.
