Sydney Richards, LCGC, MGC

Sydney Richards, MGC, CGC is a genetic counselor with VHC Health Physicians - Charlotte S. Benjamin Center for Women's Health.

Sydney received a Bachelor of Science from Florida State University and received her Master of Genetic Counseling from the University of Maryland, Baltimore. Sydney is board certified by the American Board of Genetic Counseling and licensed in the state of Virginia as a genetic counselor. She is also a member of the National Society of Genetic Counselors.

Sydney joined the VHC Health Physicians in 2022. She sees patients at Maternal Fetal Medicine for prenatal and preconception indications, including genetic screening and diagnostic testing options for high-risk pregnancies, positive genetic screening and testing results, personal or family history of genetic conditions, abnormal ultrasounds, and recurrent pregnancy loss.

Outside of work, Sydney enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading for pleasure, and exploring the Northern Virginia/DC area.
