Rebecca Donahue, DNP, RN, ACCNS-AG, AG-ACNP, ACHPN, is an Advanced Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner with Palliative Care.
Rebecca earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Tech University, and went on to earn a Master’s of Science of Nursing in 2013 from University of California, Los Angeles. In 2016, Rebecca received a Doctorate of Nursing from Duke University. Rebecca completed a palliative care certificate program through California State University Institute for Palliative Care in 2019.
Rebecca has worked in the Veteran Affairs Health System in Arizona in hospice and palliative care and in Ohio in home-based palliative care. She also served as a peer reviewer for professional journals, including the Journal of Perianesthesia Nursing, International Journal of Therapy and Rehabilitation and Journal of Military Medical Research.
Rebecca is very passionate about palliative care, patient centered care, and promoting comfort and quality of life. Rebecca joined the VHC Physician Group in the Fall of 2020.
Outside of work, Rebecca enjoys traveling and spending time with her spouse and three sons.
