Dr. Alison Goldenberg is a dedicated breast surgeon with VHC Health Physicians at the Charlotte S. Benjamin Center for Women's Health. She graduated from Saint George’s University School of Medicine and completed her General Surgery Residency at SUNY Upstate Medical University. She performed her Breast Surgery Oncology Fellowship at Emory University and is a member of the American Society for Breast Surgeons.

As a surgeon at the VHC Health Reinsch Pierce Center for Breast Health, Dr. Goldenberg is committed to providing excellent care and is currently accepting new patients. She employs a patient-centered approach to managing breast disease, focusing on patient input and tailoring guidelines to fit each individual's needs. She specializes in treating patients with breast cancer, benign breast conditions, those at high risk for breast cancer, and patients with genetic mutations.

Dr. Goldenberg's inspiration for her patient-centered approach stems from her experiences in general surgery residency, where she found breast surgery to be more personal and unique compared to other surgical branches. Her favorite part of the job is meeting patients and making them feel comfortable with their decisions, aiming to form long-term relationships.

Outside of her professional life, she enjoys living in Centreville with her husband and two sons.
