Meet the Team
Guiding patients through urologic challenges and arriving at successful outcomes is what drives my passion for urology. For nearly 20 years and counting, I have enjoyed getting to know thousands of patients from Arlington and beyond. I have a particular interest in urologic oncology, benign enlargement of the prostate, and kidney stones. For those patients requiring surgery, I have expertise in minimally invasive techniques including robotic surgery and advanced technology for benign prostate surgery and kidney stones.
As an early adopter of robotic technology in 2004, I have dedicated my surgery career to minimally invasive surgery to treat cancers of the urinary tract. These include prostate cancer, kidney cancer and bladder cancer. I have witnessed the benefits of minimally invasive surgery that my patient’s experience including shortened hospitalizations and a quick return to normalcy. It is a source of tremendous pride to have led the robotic surgery program from its humble beginnings to the innovations we now offer to our patients.
Being able to change a person’s life for the better is what I love most about urology. Having patients return with a renewed ability to enjoy life to the fullest is very rewarding. I strive to create an individualized treatment plan that will meet the goals of each patient. I prioritize listening to patients and putting them at ease while addressing very private concerns. I have a professional interest and expertise in voiding dysfunction such as urinary incontinence in men and women. I also treat all forms of pelvic organ prolapse. I offer a wide range of treatments including minimally invasive surgery when necessary.
I have the privilege of taking care of individuals who have very sensitive medical and surgical issues. It is my goal to treat each patient as if they are a member of my family. My practice spans a breadth of urology from treating kidney stones and robotic surgery for prostate enlargement to cancers and erectile dysfunction. I have additional expertise in prosthetic urology.
With over two decades dedicated to urology, I continue to be motivated daily by the opportunity to solve both simple and complex urological issues. Always striving for excellence, the urology team at VHC Health provides superior care with outstanding results. As my career has progressed, in addition to managing most general urological conditions, I have developed a keen focus and expertise on minimally invasive surgeries for enlarged prostate, vasectomies, medical and surgical management of kidney stones, as well as the medical and surgical management of erectile dysfunction and male factor infertility.
