Application & Hiring Steps
Use this easy-to-follow information to guide you through the VHC Health job application process.
Submit an Application
After finding the open position that best matches your skills and work preferences, start the application process by clicking the “Apply” button at the top of the job description.
You’ll have options to fill out your application, but first, you’ll need to create an account or sign in.
Talent Assessment
You’ll get a prompt to complete a Talent Assessment during the application process. We are looking for top talent, so you must complete this assessment for a VHC Health job. When you finish the assessment, return to the application page. Then, submit your application.
Interview
If you’re a top candidate for a position, we’ll invite you to interview with a manager.
Current VHC Health team members may also invite you to a peer interview. Peer interviews are an important part of our hiring process. They support our teamwork and workplace excellence culture. These interviews help ensure a mutually beneficial culture fit.
Offer & Next Steps
After interviews, if you continue in the hiring process, a member of our Recruitment team will contact you. You’ll get your job offer details and the next steps for a final employment offer letter.
If you aren’t selected to continue in the hiring process, we’ll notify you through email.
License & Certification Requirements
You may interview without being licensed. If the position requires a state or national license, high school diploma, or certification, you must have those before your start date. If a college degree is also required, you must submit official transcripts.
Background Check & References
Once you have verbally accepted an offer, you’ll receive an email. You'll use it to complete a background check. You’ll also receive an email requesting contact information for your professional references.
Drug Screening
All employment offers are contingent upon drug screening. You must complete a drug test within 48 hours of the requested time.
Accepting the Offer
After you accept our offer and pass the screening requirements, a Recruitment team member will send you the official employment letter. The offer will confirm your position, salary and benefits, and orientation dates. You’ll also receive information about where to report on your first day and the orientation schedule. It will also cover the documentation you must bring on your first day of employment.
Complete Pre-Employment Requirements
Once you have accepted an offer and have a start date, you must complete a new employee health screening and certification review (if required for your position.)
Future Opportunities with VHC Health
Your resume will remain in our online database if you aren’t selected for an interview or position. It could be a match for future openings.
Recruitment Fraud Warning
Be aware of phishing scams where people pretend to represent VHC Health. They may offer fake job opportunities and email employment offer letters to prospective job seekers.
VHC Health will never ask prospective employees for payment to process documents or purchase equipment. Candidates should never send money to a hospital recruiter.
