Lifeline Medical Alert System

Since 1991, VHC Health has been a hospital-based provider of the Lifeline Medical Alert System for the entire Northern Virginia and Northwest DC Metro Region. The Senior Health Department is ready to provide you with excellent service so you can live safely and independently in your home. Options are available to fit your needs and lifestyle. Read more

Healthy Aging Lectures & Events

Join us each month for an educational and engaging lecture on a topic related to health, aging, and living well. We cover a variety of topics and bring in experts to keep you informed and to provide you with resources in the community.

Healthy Aging Lectures are free and held virtually at this time. They are generally the 4th Friday of the month. Healthy Aging events are free and held in-person in collaboration with community partners. Click on the button below to learn more about lectures and events.

Healthy Aging Support Groups

VHC Health offers many support groups to address health issues of concern and to create connections for people in need of support. Click below to expand and learn more about the Healthy Aging support groups we offer.

Alzheimer’s & Dementia Caregivers Support Group

This free support group meets on the second Wednesday of the month at 10 AM. Please send us an email if you would like to receive an invitation for upcoming meetings. The group meets at First Presbyterian Church, 601 N. Vermont St., Arlington.
