Cathy Turner
Director of Health Promotion & Senior Health Departments
Cathy has worked as the Director of Health Promotion Department at VHC Health for 30 years. Over the years, she has been involved with the development of Senior Health Department programs, including Walk Fit and Healthy Aging Lectures. Cathy started managing the Philips Lifeline program in 1999 and since then has installed hundreds of subscribers. “Over the years I have seen how Philips Lifeline has helped so many of our subscribers and, in many cases, saved their lives. I installed my mother-in-law’s Lifeline in 2001 and it has provided great peace of mind to our family,” she said. Cathy currently serves on the Advisory Board for Philips Lifeline corporate, instructs Hospital wellness programs and presents health education to the community and corporate groups.
Kate Chutuape
Manager of Senior Health
Kate joined VHC Health's Senior Health Department in 2019. With a public health background, Kate previously worked at PACE (Programs of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) and now works on all programs and services offered by VHC’s Senior Health Department. Kate loves finding ways to help older adults live safely, independently, and joyfully in their community. Kate also enjoys collaborating with community partners and connecting people to helpful resources. Kate is a Commissioner on the Arlington County Commission on Aging.
Blanca Cali
Assistant Manager of Senior Health
Blanca joined the Senior Health team in 2017. She served in the U.S. Marine Corps and received a Masters in Gerontology from George Mason University. Blanca is passionate about helping older adults improve their quality of life and helping them stay active. She supports the Philips Lifeline medical alert program and leads Walk Fit on Tuesday and Thursday mornings.
