Mary Bergmann, MS, ACNP-BC, is a board-certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Marymount University and a Master of Science in Nursing from Georgetown University. She started her professional career working for many years in critical care for Johns Hopkins Hospital in Intensive Care as an RN in Washington, DC and then as an NP in Baltimore, MD. In 2012, she joined CCH Care Navigation as a Triage Telemedicine NP caring for homebound patients in primary care, hospice care, palliative care and inpatient hospital hospice. She has received both professional and community volunteer recognition awards.She joined VHC Health Physicians - Primary Care McLean in 2023. Her clinical interests include acute and chronic care of Adult/Geriatric patient populations, holistic individualized patient care, telemedicine and preventative care. Her mission is to provide compassionate care using best evidence-based practices with an emphasis on patient safety. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Society of Critical Care Medicine.She is a native of the DMV area and enjoys family time, exploring the Chesapeake Bay, boating, hiking and needle point.
