Born and raised in Ethiopia, Dagmawit came to the United States after high school. She obtained an Associate of Science degree at Northern Virginia Community College and went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Trinity Washington University in 2014. In 2021, Dagmawit graduated from Chamberlain University with a Master of Science in Nursing.

Dagmawit joins VHC Health Physicians with years of experience in intermediate care and gastroenterology. She is a member of the American Associate of Nurse Practitioners and American College of Gastroenterology. 

In her spare time, Dagmawit enjoys spending quality time with her friends and beloved husband and two children as well as cooking and traveling. 

Dagmawit works exclusively in the hospital environment and does not maintain office hours for scheduled appointments.
