Michael Olson, PA first joined VHC Health in 2003 as an ER Technician after volunteering as an EMT in Prince William County. Michael graduated from James Mason University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2007. He then graduated from PA school at George Washington University in 2011. 

After his graduation, Michael moved to Oahu, Hawaii where he had lived for a number of years, practicing hospitalist and critical care medicine at Tripler Army Medical Center and trauma services at The Queen's Medical Center. Having moved to California in 2015, Michael worked in the Stanford Emergency Department in Palo Alto and then in the Huntington Memorial Hospital Emergency Department and a local urgent care center in Pasadena. In 2022, Michael moved back to the east coast with his family and transitioned into palliative care. 

Outside of work, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 daughters, walking and playing with his golden retriever, swimming and going on trips to the beach.
