Laura Bryan, MSN, AG-ACNP

Laura Bryan, MSN, AG-ACNP, currently specializes in Interventional Cardiology at VHC Health. She also has many years of experience in advanced heart failure and heart transplant.

Laura completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Virginia, and subsequently worked as nurse in the Coronary Care Unit at UVA Hospital, caring for complex and critically ill cardiac patients. She then returned to the University of Virginia for her Masters of Science in Nursing, obtaining her degree as an Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner in 2015. She spent several years as a Nurse Practitioner caring for Advanced Heart Failure, LVAD, and Heart Transplant patients, and has obtained her Heart Failure Nursing Certification. She subsequently worked in Interventional Cardiology, caring for and managing patients undergoing various Interventional procedures in the catheterization lab. She has a special interest in education, having previously participated in various patient, student, and colleague education initiatives.

Outside of work, Laura enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, and running.
