Ketan K. Trivedi MD FACC

Ketan K. Trivedi, MD specializes in general and nuclear cardiology as well as echocardiography. He is board certified in cardiovascular disease and nuclear cardiology and serves as the Chief of the Cardiology Division at Inova Fair Oaks Hospital. “Cardiology was far and away the most interesting of my subjects in medical school,” he said. “My grandfather needed cardiac surgery just as I was in that portion of my coursework and it was fascinating to see what I learned in the classroom being applied to a loved one in real life. Cardiology has been one of the most rapidly advancing areas in medicine, and being a part of that progress is a privilege.”

Dr. Trivedi earned his medical degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine and completed his residency and fellowship at Georgetown University Hospital.

In his free time, Dr. Trivedi enjoys traveling, cooking and coaching soccer.
