Dr. Jennifer Primeggia joined VHC Health - Infectious Disease Care in the winter of 2017.
Prior to this she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Spanish from the College of William and Mary in 2002. She attended Eastern Virginia Medical School the following year before completing her residency in Internal Medicine at Georgetown University Hospital. From 2009 to 2010 Dr. Primeggia was Chief Medical Resident in the Department of Internal Medicine at Georgetown University Hospital and Virginia Hospital Center. She then completed a two year Infectious Diseases fellowship in 2012 at Georgetown University Hospital.
Since 2012 Dr. Primeggia has worked as a Hospitalist and as a Medical Director of Infection Prevention in General Medicine in the northern Virginia area. Dr. Primeggia is a currently member of the Infectious Disease Society of America.
Her personal interests include ballet gardening and cooking.
She is fluent in both English, and Spanish, and is currently accepting new patients.
