Albert C. Shu, MD

Dr. Albert Shu is a board-certified internist who brings extensive training and a compassionate approach to providing personalized healthcare solutions tailored to each patient's unique needs.

After graduating with a a degree in communication and business from Elon University, Dr. Shu graduated within the top quartile of his class from the University of Louisville School of Medicine with a distinction in research. He completed his internal medicine training at Georgetown University Hospital, where he honed his clinical skills and further cultivated his interests in medical education and research. Dr. Shu furthered his expertise with a residency in Anesthesiology at UCSF, where he served as a house staff officer, providing comprehensive perioperative and intensive care to diverse patient populations.

Dr. Shu maintains active memberships in prominent medical associations such as the American College of Physicians and the American Medical Association, underscoring his commitment to professional excellence and ongoing learning.

Dr. Shu is passionate about medical education and disease prevention. He has a clinical interest in liver and gastrointestinal disease, anxiety and depression as well as diabetes prevention.
