Dr. Arshad Ali graduated magna cum laude from Virginia Tech in 2012, before attending Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, VA. He then moved to Illinois for his Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Chicago.Dr. Ali joined VHC Health Physicians – Primary Care Falls Church in the summer of 2019 before transitioning to the VHC Health Bariatric & Metabolic Health Center in 2023. Dr. Ali has a collaborative approach to patient care, and values developing strong relationships with his patients and shared decision making in every aspect of their health.Board certified in Internal Medicine and Obesity Medicine through the American Board of Obesity Medicine, his practice focuses on weight loss and metabolic health. He works with patients who are undergoing or have had bariatric surgery as well as patients who are interested in non-surgical weight loss to formulate long term management plans for weight loss, maintenance, and overall metabolic health.Outside of work, Dr. Ali is an avid outdoorsman, aspiring triathlete, and enjoys spending time with his family.
