Ashraf Harahsheh, MD, joined Children’s National Health System in September 2008 as a full-time attending. Dr. Harahsheh completed his fellowship training at the Children’s Hospital of Michigan Wayne State University School of Medicine Detroit Michigan. Dr. Harahsheh is board certified in pediatric cardiology a member of the American Society of Echocardiography and the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Harahsheh received his doctorate of medicine from the University of Jordan-College of Medicine, Amman, Jordan. He completed his residency at Children’s Hospital of Michigan, Detroit, Michigan. His primary interests include Atrial Flutter/Fibrillation in children with Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome, the cardiac function in Anthracycline-Treated Children, and the use of B-type Natriuretic peptide as a marker for worsening cardiac function. Dr. Harahsheh plays a major role in teaching fellows outpatient and inpatient medicine.

Dr. Harahsheh sees patients:

- Every Thursday at the Children’s National Health System’s main campus
- 1st & 4th Monday of every month at the Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington, VA
