Brian Clark, MD is a board-certified cardiologist with VHC Physician Group – Cardiology.

He attended the University of Maryland for his undergraduate degree, graduating in 2008 with a BS in Physiology and Neurobiology. He went on to attend Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University. He completed internal medicine residency and a cardiovascular medicine fellowship at the University of Maryland Medical Center where he also served as Chief Fellow.

Dr. Clark served as an Assistant Professor at Rush University Medical Center from 2019 – 2021 and joined the VHC Physician Group – Cardiology in the summer of 2021.

His clinical interests include preventive cardiology, cardiac nuclear imaging, advanced echocardiography and treating patients with heart failure/cardiomyopathies, coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, arrhythmias, lipid disorders and difficult to manage high blood pressure. He has special interests as well in improving health literacy in the community and improving disparities in cardiovascular care.

Dr. Clark is a DMV native and currently lives in the area with his wife. In his free time he enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling to new places, snowboarding, reading, playing soccer and golfing.
