Charlotte Platner, MD is an OB/GYN physician with VHC Health Physicians - Charlotte S. Benjamin Center for Women's Health.
She was born and raised in Arlington, Virginia. She graduated summa cum laude from the College of William & Mary in 2013 with a Bachelors of Science in Chemistry. During her undergraduate education, she pursued research in mass spectrometry and was an Arnold and Mabel Beckman Foundation Scholar. She then spent a year at the National Institutes of Health doing research as part of the Post-Baccalaureate IRTA Program.
Following her time at the NIH, she completed medical school at the University of Virginia School of Medicine, graduating in 2018. She subsequently completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine in Roanoke, VA.
As a native of Arlington, Dr. Platner is thrilled to be practicing back in her hometown. She is currently accepting new patients.
