Courtney J. Blair, MD

Dr. Blair originally joined Allergy and Asthma Associates in September 2008. She received her Doctor of Medicine degree from Oregon Health and Sciences University and completed a combined residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. She then completed a comprehensive Fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at Rush University Medical Center during which time she was given the Pillsbury Fellowship Award. Dr. Blair is certified by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology and American Board of Internal Medicine. She was also certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in 2006. Dr. Blair has special interests in the management of complicated asthma and their co-morbid disorders in addition to nasal and ocular allergies chronic sinusitis, food allergy and chronic hives. She is a member of the Greater Washington Area Allergy and Immunology Society, the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, and the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, and has presented at the AAAAI meetings. She was featured on the Discovery Channel's Continuing Medical Education series on Anaphylaxis in 2011. You can see her recent interview on WJLA Channel 7's website where she highlighted allergies on February 24, 2014. She was awarded Fellow Status by the AAAAI in June 2012. She has been listed at a Northern Virginia Top Doc as of 2014. She was also selected by her peers as an outstanding physician and was listed the The Washington Post Magazine's April 2013 edition of Super Doctors® Rising Stars (SM). Dr. Blair is originally from Washington, DC and lives in the Northern Virginia area with her husband and two small children. She is seeing new patients in both our McLean and Sterling offices.
