Dr. Deborah Wong is part of VHC Health's Hospitalist team, specializing in managing and coordinating all aspects of a patient's care during their hospital stay. She collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to address the diverse and complex needs of her patients, ensuring comprehensive and compassionate care.
Dr. Wong earned her medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine in, where she was inducted into the prestigious Gold Humanism Honor Society in recognition of her compassionate patient care. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at Brown University’s Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, RI. She holds certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS).
Before joining VHC Health, Dr. Wong served as a Hospitalist at Penn State Hershey Medical Center, where she also held the role of Assistant Professor of Medicine at Penn State College of Medicine. During her time there, she was honored with the Penn State College of Medicine Teaching Award in 2022. Additionally, she has experience as a Hospitalist at Kent Hospital in Warwick, Rhode Island.
Outside of work, Dr. Wong enjoys figure skating and singing.
Dr. Wong works exclusively in the Hospital environment and does not maintain office hours for scheduled appointments.
