Dr. Khan earned her medical degree from St. George’s University in the West Indies and completed her residency at Robert Wood Johnson University.

“As a medical student, I enjoyed working with families and taking care of people across their lifespan,” said Dr. Khan, who began her medical career as a nurse.

She likes to evaluate how much medication patients take and decrease it whenever possible. “I sit with them and explain, ‘This medication was initially given for a specific purpose, but now you are better. We should consider a change,’” she said. “Having a rapport and trust with patients really helps when I recommend a trial going off medication to assess if it is still the best course of treatment.”

She is currently accepting new patients.

Dr. Khan is by far the best primary care physician I've ever worked with in my life-my husband uses her too and he agrees. She never rushes conversations, she hears me fully, she shares context and background for her decisions, and she considers wholistic patient issues in the most thoughtful and deliberate ways. She has superb bedside manner and her no-nonsense approach is outstanding and so welcomed. My husband agrees! We are so grateful for her. Please pay her well and make her feel as welcomed as she makes me feel in her office!

I was very impressed with Dr. Kahn. She was thorough, caring, and took time to answer all my questions. She is also very knowledgeable and did a good job of explaining the medical issues I was concerned about.

I tell everyone about how amazing my experience has been with the hospital and my care team. Amazing experience all around. My doctor is extremely professional and thorough. She takes the time to talk with me about everything and explain everything. She is extremely easy to talk to.
