Hazem Elariny, MD graduated from Louisiana State University, Shreveport LA and completed his Internship and Residency programs in Alton Ochsner Med Foundation, New Orleans LA.

He is the first surgeon to perform Laparoscopic Gastric Bypass for morbid obesity in the Greater Washington, DC Metropolitan, Northern Virginia, and Southern Maryland Areas.

Dr. Elariny has an excellent success rate in terms of patient outcome and satisfaction. Procedures are done laparoscopically, with the fewest incisions safely possible.
