Jason Levy, DO, is a urologist at VHC Health Physicians - Tysons. He completed a fellowship at the world-renowned Johns Hopkins Brady Urological Institute in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Levy was born and raised in Florida and graduated with honors from the University of Florida (Go Gators!) with a B.S. in chemistry and minor in business administration. He subsequently received a master’s degree from the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL and completed medical school at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL graduating with honors in the top 10% of his class.
He completed an internship in general surgery at Drexel University / Hahnemann University Hospital and a urology residency at Drexel/Hahnemann and Main Line Health (Philadelphia, PA) where he served as chief resident in his final year.
Dr. Levy enjoys all aspects of urology and treats conditions including: benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), kidney stones, cancers of the genitourinary tract (kidney, prostate, bladder, penile), ureteral reconstruction, erectile dysfunction, and incontinence. He has advanced training in prosthetic urology (penile prosthesis / artificial urinary sphincter), Peyronie’s Disease, minimally invasive DaVinci robotic surgery for enlarge prostates and conditions involving the upper tract (ureteral injury/stricture disease, UPJ obstruction, etc.).
Dr. Levy has authored numerous publications and has presented research locally, nationally, and internationally on an array of topics. He received 1st place at the Philadelphia Urologic Society for his research in 2018 and received a 2nd place Erwin Literary Scholar Award. He is a member of the American Urological Association, Sexual Medicine Society of North America, and American College of Osteopathic Surgeons from which he received the National Resident Achievement Award in 2020. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Portuguese water dog (Bessie), and running.
