Kristin Gorelik, MD, a board-certified OB-GYN and Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, is one of the newest providers of VHC Health Physicians - OB/GYN Annandale.
She received her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry & Cell Biology at the University of California San Diego (UCSD), where she also studied Health Care & Social Issues. Dr. Gorelik earned her medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School, graduating with Alpha Omega Alpha honors distinction. She then returned to San Diego to complete her OBGYN residency at UCSD, where she received myriad awards, including recognition in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery.
Dr. Gorelik worked in academic medicine at The George Washington University for nine years. She completed the prestigious APGO Scholars and Leaders certificate course and served as the Director of OB-GYN Medical Student Education. Additionally, Dr. Gorelik pursued special training in contraceptive techniques, including permanent sterilization and long-acting reversible contraception.
Her clinical interests include laparoscopic gynecologic surgery, family planning, and comprehensive patient centered obstetric care. Dr. Gorelik prioritizes building long-lasting relationships with her patients.
Outside of work, Dr. Gorelik spends her time with her husband and elementary-aged daughter and son. They love weekend bike rides, hikes, and enjoying all of the local and regional attractions. Dr. Gorelik is fluent in English and conversational French; she is proficient in Spanish.
