Stephanie Spaulding, MGC, LCGC is a genetic counselor with VHC Health Physicians - Charlotte S. Benjamin Center for Women's Health.
Stephanie received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and received her Master of Genetic Counseling from the University of Maryland, Baltimore. Prior to joining the VHC Health Physicians, Stephanie was a genetic counselor at Kaiser Permanente where she saw patients in prenatal, oncology, and general genetics settings. As part of her clinical work, she has a strong interest in the intersection of transgender health care and hereditary cancer conditions. Stephanie joined the VHC Health Physicians in 2021. Stephanie sees patients at both the Center for Breast Health and Maternal Fetal Medicine for oncology, prenatal, and preconception indications, including personal or family of cancer, positive genetic testing, and abnormal ultrasounds during pregnancy. She is board certified by the American Board of Genetic Counseling and licensed in the state of Virginia as a genetic counselor. Stephanie has had the pleasure of living in the Midwest and on the West Coast before settling in the DC area. She enjoys exploring the many local (and free!) attractions with her family. In her (limited) quiet free time, she quilts and watches reality TV shows.
