A graduate of the University Of Baghdad School Of Medicine, he served his Surgical Residency at the University of Miami, Miami, Florida before being named Chief Resident in Surgery. In 1980 he completed his Residency in Plastic Surgery at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C. where he served as Chief Resident in Plastic Surgery until 1981. In 1983, Dr. Munasifi was named Chief of Plastic Surgery at AMI Doctors Hospital in Lanham, Maryland and concurrently served as Plastic Surgery Consultant at Loudon Memorial Hospital in Leesburg, Virginia.
