Dr. Zoe Belkin is a board-certified OBGYN with VHC Health Physicians.
She received her undergraduate degree with honors in Biology and Society, with a concentration in Spanish, from Cornell University. After working as birth doula in New York, she pursued a research position at The Center for Vulvovaginal Disorders in Washington, DC. In this capacity she gained experience caring for patients with vulvar dermatologic conditions and sexual pain disorders. Dr. Belkin subsequently earned her medical degree at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences.
Dr. Belkin moved to Nashville to complete her OBGYN residency at Vanderbilt University Medical School. While at Vanderbilt she served as Education Chief Resident and received several awards for Family Planning, Maternal Fetal Medical and Academic Specialist Medicine. Following graduation, she remained on as faculty at Vanderbilt and was one of the founding OBGYN physicians at a Vanderbilt Wilson County Hospital.
In her practice, Dr. Belkin emphasizes the importance listening to patients, advocacy and evidence-based medicine. She practices full scope obstetrical and gynecological care and loves staying connected with patients throughout their life stages.
Dr. Belkin is excited to return to the DMV, this time with her husband and young daughter. In her spare time, she enjoys visiting the beach, running, practicing yoga and cooking.
