Jessica Campbell’s passion for healthcare began during her undergraduate education in 2004 at Radford University, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and minored in Sociology. This laid the groundwork for understanding how socialization plays an integral role in providing and receiving healthcare, as well as the need for compassion in counseling and education. In 2010, after working in various aspects of women’s healthcare, Jessica completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Miami. She then went on to earn a Master’s Degree in Nursing in 2012 from Virginia Commonwealth University, specializing in Women’s Health. The practical experience, first as a medical assistant, then as a registered nurse, and currently as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner, affords Jessica a strong medical knowledge base and has shaped her holistic approach to patient care.Over the past decade she has provided OB/GYN care to a wide variety of patients by working both in the private practice setting as well as with non-profits and federally qualified health centers. However, she considers being a mother and raising her son, Remi, to be her greatest achievement.
