When to See a Doctor

Make an appointment with your doctor if you experience any breast or nipple changes, such as:

• Breast pain, redness or warmth
• Breast lump
• Nipple or breast skin discoloration
• Nipple discharge not related to breastfeeding

If you are a man, talk to your doctor if you experience abnormal breast growth.
