Cancer Support Groups

The Dewberry Cancer Resource Center offers a wide array of support groups and programs that give you and your family the opportunity to gather and share. All support groups are free.

Breast Cancer Patients with Children

2nd Friday of every month, 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm
Join other young mothers to discuss concerns living with cancer and raising a family. Facilitated by a patient navigator.

C.H.A.N.C.E. - Head & Neck Cancer

4th Wednesday of every month, 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm
Oncology professionals discuss special challenges and concerns for anyone diagnosed with head and neck cancer.

"Knitting with Friends"

The 3rd Wednesday of every month, 3:30-4:30pm. Beginners welcome or bring your own knitting projects. Starter kits will be supplied for beginners. The group is held in the lobby of the Outpatient Pavilion (1851 building), Zone E Parking.

Prostate Cancer Support Group

4th Tuesday of every month, 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Discussion group for men and their spouses or significant others. Facilitated by prostate cancer survivor. 

Breast Cancer Support Group

3rd Tuesday of every month, 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Meet other women diagnosed with breast cancer; share problems and learn new coping techniques. Facilitated by patient navigators.
