Executive Health FAQs

How do I make an appointment? How soon as appointments available? 

To schedule an appointment, call 703-717-4700 or email executivehealth@vhchealth.org. Appointments typically are available within 2-4 weeks.

Where does the examination take place?

All Medical services take place on the Virginia Hospital Campus, 1635 N. George Mason Drive, Suite 130, Arlington VA, 22205.

Our campus is minutes from Tysons Corner/Mclean and Washington, DC.

Please park in the ZONE B Medical Office Building Parking Lot (formerly Gold Parking) for the 1635 Building. Take the Zone B parking lot elevator to the Lobby Level. When you exit the elevator, please make the first right past the restrooms, walk down the corridor, make a left to Suite 130. We will validate your parking ticket at the end of your consult.

How much time will my executive exam take?

It will take approximately 5-6 hours.

Is there paperwork I need to complete ahead of time?

Yes, you will need to complete registration forms. We will email our Health Registration Form to each patron directly.

Will my employer have access to my medical records?

No. All of your medical information is kept strictly confidential and will never be shared with your employer.

How frequently can I receive a health screening/exam under this benefit?

Exams are provided once a year.

Can I share results of my screening/exam with my primary care physician?

Yes. You will receive a comprehensive summary of the results of your health screening and exam. You are encouraged by VHC Health to share this information with your physician. VHC Health can also send your primary physician a copy of your records upon request by completing and signing an Authorization for Release For Medical Information Form.

What happens if I need to see a specialist?

Our executive team may be able to arrange a same day appointment with a specialist. Please note that payment for an appointment with a specialist is between you and the specialty office if not part of an existing employer benefit/agreement with VHC. These appointments only will be scheduled and processed through your health insurance unless part of an existing employer benefit/agreement with VHC. Scheduling is based on specialist availability. Please let us know at your earliest convenience if you would be interested in seeing a specialist.
