Physical Therapy for Neurological Impairments
The physical therapists of the Outpatient Rehabilitation Department at VHC Health have additional training in addressing your unique neuromuscular needs by assessing your strength, balance and mobility impairments. During your first visit a licensed physical therapist with specialized knowledge of neurologic diagnoses will evaluate and assess your unique impairments and functional limitations. A hands-on treatment program to include balance training, strengthening, posture exercises, and gait training will be provided to you. To ensure you are safe both in your home and in the community, a home exercise program and patient education will be addressed throughout your program.
