Speech-Language Pathology (SLP)
for Neurological Impairments

Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) promotes healing in people recovering from neurological conditions such as a stroke through therapy and education. The speech pathologists of the Outpatient Rehabilitation Department at VHC Health assist patients as they build and re-learn skills that are important for communication, cognition, and swallowing.
