Evette Hernandez, MSN, RN, CNM is the Director of Childbirth Education at VHC Health. She is a Certified Nurse Midwife and clinical leader with over 20 years of experience. She has cared for childbearing families in a variety of settings including hospitals, birth centers, community health centers, and private practice. She and her team host educational events that help families adopt the latest evidence-based prenatal, childbirth, and postpartum practices. Her team also facilitates the postpartum and breastfeeding support groups which serve to build connected supportive communities and to provide a safe space for parents to talk about their experiences, connect with each other, and learn about helpful tools and resources.
