For Two Young VHC Doctors, 9/11 was a 'Test of Tests'
For two young Virginia Hospital Center physicians, a quiet Tuesday morning that turned into an attack on the United States shaped what kind of doctors they would become over the next 20 years. VHC Drs. Peter Liu and John Sverha had just 2.5 years of professional experience between them on that fateful day. They recently spoke with @7NewsDC's @VictoriaSanchez about the "test of tests" they faced caring for victims of the Pentagon attack. VHC President and CEO James B. Cole also reflects on the experience that day and the resulting partnership that was fostered among Northern Virginia hospitals to help and heal the community.
