BOLLYINSIDE: Arlington Welcomes VHC Health’s New Outpatient Pavilion

VHC Health in Arlington, Virginia, has opened a new seven-story Outpatient Pavilion. The pavilion will provide direct access to treatment facilities for patients upon arrival. Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony and praised the facility. The Pavilion was designed to address the growing need for affordable and accessible healthcare. The facility includes outpatient surgery, imaging, pharmacy, lab, endoscopy, physical therapy, and 26,000 square feet dedicated to women’s health services. Arlington County Board Chair Christian Dorsey believes the pavilion will benefit the community by consolidating services in one location and reducing travel time for patients. The hospital’s next project is renovating the main campus hospital to expand inpatient services.

VHC Health in Arlington, Virginia, has recently unveiled its new Outpatient Pavilion, a state-of-the-art seven-story building that aims to enhance patient care and accessibility. The ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new pavilion was attended by Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin, who praised the facility for its exceptional design and advanced technology. Chris Lane, the president and CEO of VHC Health, expressed his pride in the completion of this long-awaited expansion project. He emphasized that the Outpatient Pavilion is designed to meet the growing healthcare needs of the community while remaining affordable and accessible to all.

In addition to outpatient surgery, imaging, pharmacy, and laboratory services, the new facility also includes a dedicated space of 26,000 square feet for women’s health services. Developed by a female-led physician team, these services encompass a wide range of preventive and palliative care options, including obstetrics and gynecology, maternal fetal medicine, genetics, breast health, urology, cardiology, advanced radiologic imaging, and vascular diagnostics.

Arlington County Board Chair Christian Dorsey highlighted the positive impact of the Outpatient Pavilion on the community. By consolidating essential services under one roof, patients can avoid the inconvenience and stress of traveling between multiple locations. This integration promotes a more seamless and patient-centered healthcare experience, ultimately improving patient outcomes and satisfaction.
