Washington Business Journal: Meet our 2024 40 Under 40 honorees
By Caitlin Lyons – Special Projects Editor, Washington Business Journal
What's the first thing you should know about our 40 Under 40 program? For starters, it's arguably the hardest list to make out of all the award programs the Washington Business Journal produces annually. Each year we receive hundreds of nominations — the most we receive for any program — from highly accomplished business and nonprofit leaders who are under the age of 40 from around the region. And this year was certainly no different.
The newsroom combed through the stacks of impressive leaders to pull together this list of 40 that we believe represent the diverse industries, backgrounds and interests of Greater Washington. These honorees have risen to prominence in their respective fields and are already making headlines in our regular coverage of commercial real estate, economic development, tech, finance and health care — or will be soon.
Meet this year's class in the gallery below.

The second thing you need to know? The program has moved in our lineup of events. Previously hosted in the summer, we'll be honoring this year's honorees at the Capital Turnaround in D.C. on Feb. 21. Be on the lookout for a complete roundup of this year's honorees in a 40 Under 40 special section that will run online and in print in February.
