VHC Health Announces New Chief Medical Officer
Arlington, VA: May 20, 2022 – VHC Health, a community-based health system providing medical services to the Washington, DC metropolitan area, is excited to announce that Brian Stone, MD, MBA is the new Senior Vice President, and Chief Medical Officer (CMO) effective Tuesday, July 5, 2022. Dr. Stone will be taking over for David Lee, MD who stepped into the CMO role at a critical juncture for the health system during the pandemic.
Dr. Stone is an experienced physician executive with a background in healthcare strategy and management with proven success providing exceptional care and top-quality patient outcomes. Dr. Stone has been with VHC Health since 2014 when he started as the Chief of Pediatrics, and currently serves as the Medical Director of the Marjorie Sands Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

Dr. Stone’s responsibilities as Chief Medical Officer will include overseeing the clinical and quality initiatives that advance the health system’s mission to provide the highest-quality, best-value healthcare to the community.
