VHC Health is Proud to Celebrate Melody Dickerson at the 20th Annual Washington Business Journal’s Women Who Mean Business Award Event


Arlington, VA (October 6, 2023) – 
VHC Health, a community-based health system providing medical services to the Washington, DC metropolitan area, is proud to have celebrated Melody Dickerson, MSN, RN, CENP, CPHQ, FACHE, Senior Vice President for Hospital Operations and Chief Nursing Officer at VHC Health, at this year’s Washington Business Journal’s Women Who Mean Business event, where she was named a finalist.

This prestigious event and award recognizes women across the Washington, DC metro region who have made a difference in their communities in various sectors and blaze the trail for others. This highly selective group of 25 women was honored in person at the Washington Business Journal’s 20th anniversary celebration.

As Senior Vice President of Hospital Operations and Chief Nursing Officer at VHC Health, Melody has served as a transformational leader to the health system’s approximately 1,000 nurses and healthcare services staff she oversees. Her work directly influences the VHC Health strategic direction and ensures that patient care service goals and initiatives are aligned to advance organizational success.
