VHC Health Ranks as Top Hospital in U.S., Newsweek Reports
ARLINGTON, VA (August 1, 2023) – VHC Health, a community-based health system providing medical services to the Washington, DC metropolitan area, has received a top ranking in Newsweek’s World’s Best Hospitals for the fourth year in a row. Ranking over 2,800 hospitals in 28 countries, this study asked 85,000 medical experts across the world to participate in an online survey covering topics such as recommendation of hospital, satisfaction of patient care, quality of care for specific treatments, among other factors.
Coming in at the top 3% of hospitals in the United States, VHC Health was noted as performing “above average” for CMS Infection Prevention Measures, and shared this distinction with other highly rated hospitals, including Duke Regional Hospital, California Pacific Medical Center, and Indiana University Health Medical Center.
“This Newsweek ranking emphasizes VHC Health’s commitment to providing exceptional medical services as well as value to the Washington, DC region,” said Chris Lane, CEO & President, VHC Health. “Only the very best hospitals can provide a consistently great experience, both as a patient and a medical provider.
