VHC Health Receives Women’s Choice Award for Best Hospital in Ten Categories for 2023
ARLINGTON, VA (July 28, 2023) – VHC Health, a community-based health system providing exceptional medical services to the Washington, DC metropolitan area, was recognized by the Women’s Choice Award for Best Hospital in ten categories: bariatric surgery, obstetrics, heart care, minimally invasive surgery, orthopedics, cancer care, comprehensive breast care, women’s services, mammogram and patient experience. This award is graded based on the best publicly available information, patient surveys and accreditation information, and the Women’s Choice Award delivers a simplified, objective ranking to each category.

In each award category, VHC Health ranked in the top 6% of hospitals or higher, with minimally invasive surgery ranking in the top 1%, breast care and women’s services in the top 2%, and mammogram imaging and cancer care in the top 3%. The remaining top rankings include heart care (4%), obstetrics (5%), orthopedics (5%), and bariatrics (6%).
