VHC Health Ranked Fourth for Top Hospitals in D.C. Metropolitan Area by U.S. News & World Report


Arlington, VA (July 18, 2024) – 
VHC Health, a community-based health system providing medical services to the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, is proud to announce its recent ranking as one of the top hospitals in the region, according to the prestigious annual rankings released by U.S. News & World Report. VHC Health tied for fourth place alongside George Washington University Hospital and Johns Hopkins Medicine-Sibley Memorial Hospital.

U.S. News & World Report rankings compare over 5,000 hospitals across 15 specialties and 20 procedures and conditions. All hospitals underwent a rigorous evaluation process that considered factors such as the complexity of patient care needed, patient volume, and the level of care provided by the hospital. VHC Health has been recognized as high-performing in Urology, and in thirteen procedures and conditions including Hip Replacement, Knee Replacement, Prostate Cancer Surgery, Pneumonia, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, Stroke, Maternity Care (Uncomplicated Pregnancy), Leukemia, Lymphoma & Myeloma, Colon Cancer Surgery, Heart Attack and Heart Failure.
