VHC Health Re-Designated as Level II Trauma Center


Arlington, VA (June 5, 2024) – VHC Health, a community-based health system providing medical services to the Washington, DC metropolitan area, proudly announces its redesignation as a Level II Trauma Center by the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Accredited in 2021, the Level II Trauma Center designation, valid for three years, underscores VHC Health's commitment to excellence as a community provider for comprehensive medical services. Karen Shelton, State Health Commissioner, commended VHC Health for its strong commitment to delivering quality care to acutely injured patients, emphasizing the exceptional planning and performance that led to this achievement.
