Security Update and Campus Access
It is our top priority to ensure the safety and security of all individuals within our campus. As a result, we are making several security enhancements, including a new visitor check-in system, as well as changes to the entry points for our staff, physicians and badged contractors starting November 27, 2023.
This new system helps us manage and control visitor access while maintaining a welcoming environment for patients and their families. These changes are a proactive step to create a safer and more secure environment for everyone. We greatly appreciate your cooperation and support in implementing these essential enhancements. Should you have any questions or need assistance with the check-in process, our staff will be available at check-in to guide you through it.
Patients, Visitors and Community
Patients, visitors and other non-employees will be required to check in using our new streamlined process. Upon arrival, please go to the designated self-serve check-in kiosk(s) located at each of the five Hospital entry points listed below.
Every non-employee over the age of 18 will need to show a government-issued ID, as well as provide additional basic information, such as name and date of birth, that will be recorded by an electronic visitor management system. You’ll have your picture taken and be issued a visitor sticker that you’ll wear while in the main hospital. You also have the option of enrolling in facial recognition that will reduce the check-in process in the future so that you do not have to present your ID each time you return.
In accordance with Federal law, there will be no requirement for patients seeking emergency medical treatment in the Emergency Department to stop and present ID before seeking treatment.
Be assured that our system complies with healthcare regulations like HIPAA, ensuring that patient data and privacy are protected.
